From High to Low (in one day).

Wednesday was the day of my eldest son's graduation and we were looking forward to having a lovely day out and celebrating in Trentham Gardens.

Well what a day.

We had glorious sunshine (which we weren't expecting) and we were having a lovely day wandering round the gardens and sitting in the park, relaxing and taking pre-ceremony photo's.

After getting there the required 2 hours early the time went surprisingly quickly and before we knew it we were sitting down for the ceremony. The speaker came onto the stage and my phone started ringing. I don't even know why I answered it, because I wouldn't normally, but thankfully I did. It was my middle son who said those words "don't panic Mum" whilst crying. I felt so sick when I heard those words I nearly fainted. My initial thought was that something had happened to Brandon.

He just managed to tell me that my Mum had had a heart attack!!Then my phone went down due to the fkin Tesco network.

Paul rang round with his phone and managed to get my sister who works in the hospital. She told him my Mum was in the Cath lab having tests for an hour, so we sat through the graduation. At the end we ran and got an Usher to get poor Dan. He was already ill and looked as white as a sheet. Fortunately we got off the car park quickly to head back home and missed the rush. We got back just in time to eat something, because we hadn't had anything all day and then left for the hospital.

Mum was in a high dependency cardiac room and had a stent put in earlier in the day. She was sitting up in bed and actually looked quite well, if not a bit tired.

Today they've had a meeting and have decided that they're going to do a bypass.

I'm hoping and praying that everything is going to work out ok.
