At nearly 12 weeks our much wanted baby has gone.
We had 2 weeks warning but that didn't make it any easier.
My heart is broken.

Light Strike - Review
When I receive an email asking if I would like to review the Light Strike interactive battle game I was going to say no. That is until I mentioned it to my "big kids" and they really wanted to try them out. They're 20,18 & 17 :)
They all love playing Laser Quest, so when I mentioned that it was similar to that, they just couldn't wait to have a go.
The products include Assault Strikers, Strikers, Attachments and targets. Weapons are customisable with built in features. Although you have unlimited ammo there is a health tracker on your gun that tracks remaining life. When it hits zero, it's time to re-spawn. Play one to one or in teams. If there is only one person you can perfect your target practice.
To find retailers and see the whole range, take a look at WowWee
It seems that they were all very impressed. There's lots of noise and flashing lights, and it looks like it was a lot of fun (I didn't have a go myself).
The only downside is that they take lots of batteries, but I would say the pros outweigh the cons in this case.
I highly recommend this as a present for any kids, small (or just big kids like mine). The recommended age is 8+
